hey i am back in auckland again where the smell of gas is in teh air and cheap internet roams freely...i unfortunately cant get free internet from my hostel anymore which is crap but ah well... life goes on.
so i am going to do a city tour tomorrow for free. i have come to love free things... at my last backpackers place i got made fun of for 3 main things. one was for always wanting/taking free things. (food ppl left behind etc.) two was for doing very little with my days (getting up around 10 or 11 then having some breakfast... sometimes free breakfast :) then laying in the hammock, probably reading, eating, and then just chatting with people. i did go swimming and surfing at times but mostly i just couldnt be bothered. third is how much i eat and how i seem to always be hungry. (there was always room in my tummy for someone elses nutella!) mmm good times. there was a japanese guy there who was really funny and would aways bug me. for example, any time someone was eating something around me (especailly any form of chocolate) he would say oh no... no good, keep away from her. and then "tsk" at me. oh my.
mmm, so i am pretty much running low on cash. i will probably be eating less expensive chocolate and maybe beans on toast for my meals. we will see.... i think i might jsut expand my freelopader skills to begging for leftovers or snacks. haha. nah i should be alright.
well i suppose thats all the updating for now... jsut a reminder, if you look at the blog, leave evidence. this can be done by leaving a comment. so simple and it reminds me that people actually love me. haha. nah its just good to hear from you! (i know i am loved)

so you're back to the city.. hope you can connect with the church there. I know you were looking forward to meeting up with some of your friends from the conference. Today it is sunny and we have been raking leaves - not near as much fun as swinging in a hammock! Looking forward to hearing from you again soon.

Wow...it has been ages. Sorry I haven't replied to your e-mail either! I just got my laptop back from my sister, she mentioned you had said something on MSN thinking it was me...she didn't know how to log it out! Anywho, you left your bikini top and aloevera behind :( but when you get back to ChCh I will drop it off...with some pressies for back home! This is getting long so will e-mail you shortly!?! Paradise on your last post sounded great!! I love hammocks, and reading and beaches. Haha, and I SO can picture you giving people your little puppy eyes while begging for a bit of chocolate! Haha, I miss you. I'm in HOLLAND right now with Twidle! It's really fun, but quite cold! Did you hear about all the snow people are getting in Vancouver!? I guess I should email you soon, because this is getting too long and I haven't talked to you in ages! Love you Ruth! XOX

to my laura: awww so jealous that oyu are in holland. i met some real cool dutch people here. and hey! i dont even know how to do puppy eyes... and plus i am way too tall to be cute. i know about the snow! sooo crazy. it snowed in surrey the other day but not vancouver. maybe i will ahve a white christmas to greet me when i return. send me an email, it would be great to hear more from you.
